Back in the saddle

So I've been trying to get back into the swing of things. Sunday I miraculously felt better. So it seems to have been an ovarian cyst that popped. Gross. But I am off the couch, minus like 2 lbs of muscle mass, but I saw a hell of a lot of movies. Sweet. But now I have to work my ass of to catch up on everything at werk and all the orders and late gifts that are half made or just waiting to be mailed. So gettin' some purses made, trying to gear up for spring. Makin' some donations for Ladyfest's Ginger's Mystery Box. Gearin' up for Reda back in town Friday and Fat Girl's and Lab Rat's at Andymans. Maybe even finish Jillian's gift, and craft a super sweet gift that I just thought of for NDS. We'll see though.

After months of migrant werk at a beet farms and traveling to greater-than Cbus towns, Kenton made it back. And everyone came out for the desctruction known as Bernie's Happy Hour.

Happy New Year!

This New Years was my first 'low key' New Years and it was a really nice change of pace. Actually got out of bed, worked, made a "good luck" meal consisting of noodles that were not broken, dried bean curd (white tofu is bad luck on NYs day) and bamboo shoots. I really though hard about finding some fake pork at Whole Foods, but then came to the realization that the house would reak of saurkraut for a good while if I made it. My new car was supposed to be delieved, but then they cancelled so I trucked out to Dublin in a borrow car, saw the climbing friends for a quick bit, which was much more needed than I expected. It was quiet, but really heartwarming to see everyone. Picked up JG at the airpoprt and got home at 10 til midnight, skipped Basak's party (sorry!) and just hung out and listened to everyone go crazy in the streets. My ear ended in a bit of a downward spiral, so it was nice to have a quiet, sober evening. Then on New Year's Day we both computed from home and while enjoying a New Years Day cupcake! yay! Oh yeah, and it's the year to Take it to the bridge. I was option for option C, but now leaning towards D.
