Little Gus!

The littlest baby that I know of!

That baby has some sweet parents.

October Critical Mass

I'm glad I cut up my green bedsheet to print patches on. Little John's patch matched his bike. Squeall!

Takin' it back- fall photos

Columbus Graveyard from the fall. (sorry, I'm slow to get film developed)

Krystyna's Delicatessen

Krystyna's Delicatessen in Grandview. Go there, get pierogies. And potato latkes and blintzes. JG got frozen ones and fried them up for me one night. After which we went to Studio 35 and saw Harold and Maude. Perfect evening.

Weddings and Funerals

Weddings and funerals are the few occassions where people collect en mass. We come together to support each other and to remeber the good in each other. It makes you realize how much people mean to you and how much you take it for granted. I was sad that I had been in SF for the wake in Cinncinati, but the gathering Friday made up for it. It was great to have Michelle and Scott in town, with Rita, Kenton and Ian replanting their roots recently too. Everyone who has grown apart came back together that night and it ended like my favorite summer nights, struggling with Gillian Welsh and Billy Bragg/Wilco songs with Michelle on the Uke. It also made me realize how great it is to love someone.

San Francisco

So 1 out of every few weeks JG has to work a week in SF, and I've been wanting to get back out there for like 3 years, so the time was right. Got to see my old Pgh friend Dan who I hadn't seen in about 4 years and he and his ladyfriend were even more amazing to see than expected. And I got to see Daina, yet another friend who has left the Cbus. I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I should of, but here are a few.

And one really awful one of us:

Ktan moved away

Once again, a friend departs from Cbus. This time to the great NW of Vancouver.

Jillian wrote more eloquently than I ever could, but her last line is the most true
goodbye, justin. i hope somehow you know just how highly i always thought of you...

From Cinco de Mayo. When we played pin the magnetic ribbon on the suburban minivan, I found out that I passed my engineering exam, my brother got to meet everyone, we had a vegan taco feast and played kickball.

From a birthday bikeride.

Then Critical Mass, of course

Numb is the new high

playgrounds are graveyards and all of our scars are permanent

justin-bike Linocut
I remember when this bike was stolen but preserved as the linocut. I traded your replacement frame for a stuff sack and it's been decaying on my porch since. Don't worry, I'll take better care of it.
