August Critical Mass

August Critical Mass, originally uploaded by Petie_in_Cbus.
Damn. Swoon. Squeaaallll.
Critical Mass in SF was pretty fun. Although much more quiet (possibly many people were headed to Burning Man??) and less presents (there was one guy handing out bananas) but the wind from earlier in the day had died down and we rode for about 2 hrs. It was really nice to cruise around the city with other people at a nice pace (I've been cruising around solo or riding as fast as possible with JG) It was a great way to get an alternate look at the city. The sun was going down and the colors were gorgeous as the fog was rolling in too. The Bay Bridge was closing at 8pm for the weekend so there was much circling blocking traffic surrounding that/trying to get on. Headed to the the Mission to meet up with Pancake and Allie. Burritos and nachos at Papalote, Ginger ale and saurkraut & mustard on a bun at Gestalt, minicupcakes at Ritual, headed home for a PBR at the Utah. Climbed into bed, watched a few minutes of Invasion of the Body Snatchers on my last night in SF.

  1. I'm always happy to see spandex, vintage jerseys, and camelbacks in a critical mass! Seriously, though, SF looks so hip!
