So the corn that randomly sprouted (now dying) in the frontyard now seats this guy.
And about 5 other stalks have sprouted up in the last few weeks. Also pulled about 3 liters of green tomatoes from the plant in the front yard. Seems that the lazy gardening is more fruitful than the tentative gardener.
