Viewfinder Display, originally uploaded by Petie_in_Cbus.

Last weekend's setup at viewfinder. The first day I had forgotten my wooden displays, but it worked out just fine! I was a lovely weekend with the ladies of the Crafty Cotillion, and good to see some repeat customers!

Fall is very slowly slipping into winter

I heard there was ice accumulation on windshields this morning and the OSU Union sign said 36 degrees on my way to work (luckily i slept in and the sun was already warming things up), oh, I'm so not ready for the gray/sleet conditions of Ohio winters.

Anyways... The Local Yokel farmshare/food delivery service has delivered a good amount of gords this year, and another aquired from the Pigeon Roost Farm in Hebron, OH provided great ingredients for brew-brewin' and seed eating. Tony Chachere seasoning is my current fav seed topping. One of the Louisanian vendors at a drilling site gifts this upon every visit, and it contains not-so-great ingredients and is pretty salty for other uses, but has the perfect amount of salt for spicy seeds!

Remember, this weekend is Viewfinder at Junctionview Studios in Grandview (get there). It's been a lot of long hours at work this week, so I wasn't able to get ALL the new items completed, but there will be a few new necklaces!

Junctionview this Saturday and Sunday!

"The members of the Columbus Crafty Cotillion, Couchfire Collective, and Junctionview Studios are very excited to announce they are partnering to create a new event in Columbus called Viewfinder!

The show will feature handmade goods by over 30 craft vendors, fine art by Columbus' creative community, and open studios of resident artists at Junctionview Studios."

The show replaces Tiny Canary this year, which is always a great show, and this will be no different!

I've been busy in my craft cave and it's felt really good to get back to work with my hands. Plus, I found a bunch of 'treasures' (such as vintage beer cans) that I thought I pitched when I moved!

Children operating walls of fire on the course:

It's colder there...

It's not everyday you stumble upon your photos on a government website, in a good way. The site gives a little insite into what I do during the day and so I thought I'd share a few more from upstate Michigan from last Feb.
