as summer winds to a close and the weekends are starting to fill up with racing, it's nice to reflect on weekend visits from out of town friends

Spent a Saturday vending at the Food Truck Fest which was in the village at the Ohio Historical Society. I had no idea that it existed, but it was a pretty neat place. It was well-kept with interactive exhibits in the buildings. Reminded me of the summers Matt and I learned to churn butter, make stamps out of potatoes (i.e. our moms had a break from us for a few hrs a day) at Old Economy Village.

Tomorrow I'll be vending at the Columbus Food Truck Fest! It's at the Ohio Historical Society, which I know is a bit out of the way, considering everything else going on this weekend, but you should stop by! There will be a safe place to park your bike and it runs from 11-8 Saturday & Sunday. (I'll only be there Saturday though)
I'll have some new wares, some old wares:

Bear Creek Resort outside of Allentown, PA is surrounded by some pretty nice mountain biking and a surprisingly nice resort complex.
The trail was a bit too tough for me, though I hope to come back mid October when I'm in shape.

It's that time again! Well, Artisan Sundays have been happening each Sunday this summer but this is the first (only) that I'll be participating in. Sadly not via bike this year, but I have a bunch of new items!
I've made a bunch of fun award-ribbon type pins that will hopefully be a hit!
They are mainly composed of vintage buttons that my grandmother had collected over the years.
So have a good Friday and hope to see you Sunday!

Only got a few miles in on the trails at Blue Knob Park, PA but got to enjoy the view on the '2nd highest point in PA' before the rain rolled in. The park rangers were moving some dirt around the trails and gave me some good beta on the fireroads when the rain came.

I'll have almost all new jewelry! And a new look for the packaging and booth. Exciting times folks.
Some fancy and ready for fall! Think feathers and vintage buttons,
Some fun and perfect for back-to-school! Think badges and ribbons.
