Forgo the Parable

Seriously?

I had been pondering what to do with some of the art (the above ghosts are from the MOMA)- it once had sentimental value. Do you keep the prints as they are lovely, fit into your new home and you really love them, or is crazy behavior?
On a lighter note: "I toured the land, so many foreign roads"

We should shine a light on, a light on

Justin Bike Linocut
While packing my stuff, I dug up mounted linocuts. I'm just moving across town for now, though not sure about staying in Ohio.
Do we hold onto crafts of the past? Or are the scars on our fingers enough?
This one though, it's the toughest to let go. I had printed a bunch of patches just before heading to SF for a few weeks. It was a crisp, sunny Feb day and I was walking through Golden Gate park when Robbt called. 5 years already, dang.

The moon was so big again last night. The haze moved quickly as the clouds rolled in.
Not sure if it was my lens, cleanliness of the lens, or skill level, but I couldn't get a crisp shot of the moon when the sky was clear. Also, discovered my camera can shoot at 12800 ISO, but not sure I would ever try that again...

Home

Sometimes you just have to call off a wedding and move on.  Consider 6 years gone and hope the mourning period is short. Go home for a bit. Eat seitan wings, see family, EYE, Matt.  Get a haircut, explore CMU, hit the local bars and have blue drinks. Visit your grandma in the hospital. Everything falls into perspective and the relationship mourning period is over. Good things are on the horizon.
