The ladies pushed onto Moab, the men went seeking hard ice in the shadows, so I headed to see what Colorado had to offer!

At the Chicks with Picks auction Jenny caught a pink party strap and passed it onto me, so my glasses were secure for the rest of the trip!

Day 2 - Shithouse wall

Walked right out of the Inn, but a bit of a hill and we were in the sun to climb for the day! Great approach!

And we hit up the Wisenbaker Vapor Cave. It was ...interesting.... The hotsprings fed outdoor pool was much more enjoyable and it felt good to stretch our muscles out.

Hiking around Schoolhouse Wall

Midday I needed to just keep moving to keep my feet warm.

Schoolhouse Wall

Day 1 of climbing at the Ouray Ice Park The approach to the top rope set ups couldn't have been easier and though the sunny air was around 40F, down in the canyon it was just as cold as I remember ice climbing to be. I had to move around and hike a bit to keep warm and ended my day a climb early to sit by the fire, but it was worth the warmth!
