I was stressed/apprehensive about going to Margalef as again, I couldn't find much about the climbing there, but I saw 1 awesome pic, a note that said 'you can climb right from your room', 'climbers paradise' and that there was a climbers hostel.
Good thing we ended up going, as it was amazing. Definitely worth going back and spending a few weeks just there climbing. Over 1500 sport routes, hostel, 2 camping areas and a small grocery in town- what more do you need?
The campsite was quiet. We stayed at La Pont (showers, wifi, cafe, warmth), with the 2euro/night cheaper option being at La Presa (only dishwashing water, bbqs). There was a couple with a tween and toddler, a few other tents and a crowd that would have drinks outside the cafe, including Ashima Shiraishi's parents, while she rode around on her scooter.
